Professional Experience and Activities

• Dr. Burai-Kovács has held senior legal positions in Hungary and abroad, including leadership roles within the legal departments of major multinational companies.
• He has served as presiding arbitrator and arbitrator in hundreds of cases before the Arbitration Court attached to the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MKIK), and in over 15 cases before the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
• He served as a member of the Presidium of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Arbitration Court for 15 years, including six years as its President.
• He is the author of numerous publications on energy law and arbitration, and co-author of the Commentary on the Hungarian Arbitration Act.
• As a guest lecturer at Eötvös Loránd University and Károli Gáspár University, he teaches international and arbitration law.
